My new years resolution once again involves better discipline.
How did I do in 2010? Let’s see…
Get to bed at a reasonable hour (between 11 and 11:30). Lights out between 12 and 12:30. – More or less ok! I’m going to try to do this again this year but with le bebe coming in April, this will screw up my plans a bit.
Make a “To Do” list for the following day before you go to sleep so you don’t stay up all night thinking about what you need to do tomorrow – This worked out better in the first part of the year. But in the latter part of the year, I felt a lot less scatterbrained.
Wake up at a reasonable hour (hour TBD). – You know, I have no idea how this one worked out? I think I probably didn’t do very well. Again, this year will be different with bebe so we’lls ee how well we do.
Get everything on last night’s “To Do” list done. – Nope.
Get to the gym before work 2 days a week. – NOT AT ALL! I need to amend this one.
Eat breakfast. – Surprisingly, after I got pregnant, this one became a very easy resolution to keep. I like it. I’ll keep it.
Do not let stupid Facebook games give you a false sense of accomplishment. Do the real stuff first. – By the end of the year, I had trashed all my Facebook games! Yayy!
So here’s the list for 2011:
Be a good mommy.
Get to the gym, or yoga, or walk or get exercise 3 days a week.
Take your art self seriously and make art a priority.
Get something published.
Finish that goddam book already!!!
